About Automated Security
Security and electrical business in Urangan, QLD for alarms, CCTV, access control and electric gates across the Fraser Coast.
Automated Security works out of Urangan in Hervey Bay and is run by local owners, covering the Fraser Coast and the wider Wide Bay area. Its clients include residential, commercial and government organisations. The business installs alarms and monitoring, CCTV systems built on digital IP technology, intercoms with audio or video, and access control ranging from a stand-alone keypad to multiple-reader PC-based systems with proximity cards, biometric readers and number plate recognition. It also manufactures and installs electric and boom gates, bollards and rising kerbs, and carries out perimeter protection and electrical repairs.
The company runs its own gate manufacturing division, using CNC machinery to design and fabricate custom electric gates, and supplies automatic doors as an authorised agent for Auto Ingress and FAAC. It works with FAAC alarm products and Bosch cameras. As an electrical trade, the kind of work it may also cover includes wiring, power points and lighting installation, so it is worth contacting the business to confirm whether those jobs are taken on.

“Automated Security are a local family business that is run professionally & offer quality products designed & manufactured in house here in Hervey Bay. Gary, Steven & the team are all fastidious in their work & ethics offering a wide range of not only standard but bespoke products. They worked closely with us listening to our requirements, designing a unique gate & manufacturing a solution to our limited access issues. Which in turn produced a bespoke 12m automated sliding gate utilising the latest in technology & quality products. The results are amazing & have exceeded our expectations which we believe has enhanced & added true value to our property. Very happy with the workmanship from Automated Security, we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else seeking a quality system for their property.”

“An issue last year with an electric gate created no end to a problem trying to have the issue fixed. The original purchase was 12 months earlier with another company whom had a change of ownership preceding the gate concern. Back & forth communication since May last year with the new owners created more of a headache and I was finally introduced to Sally of Automated Security Sytems. Sally and the team at Automated Security were a breath of fresh air. My dealings with the company was exemplary. They were precise, punctual, professional and equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to rectify my issues. A process that dragged on for nearly 10 months by the other company was resolved in one week by Sally and her team. If you are considering a gate and motor OR new gate motor OR motor repair? Don't bother chasing your tail with warranty or other trades. Automated Security will resolve your concerns without delays and false representation. In some instances they may be able to assist with existing warranty platforms. Save your stress, time and hard earned money. Definitely recommending Automated Security in Urangan QLD”
