Acceptance of terms
By using Aussie Builders Directory, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, including people looking for a tradie and the businesses listed on it. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the site.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We will email registered users about material changes.
Use of the site
Aussie Builders Directory is a directory that helps people find local trades businesses. We do not endorse, recommend or guarantee any business listed. A listing is not a referral or a warranty about a business’s work, licences, insurance or suitability for your job.
You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose, submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person or business, or try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms without notice.
Claiming a listing
Only the business, or someone it has authorised, may claim its listing. We may ask for proof, and we remove claims that turn out to be false.
Quotes and work between you and a business
Quotes, prices, contracts, timing, workmanship, warranties and payment are agreed between you and the business. Aussie Builders Directory is not a party to that agreement. Before work starts, check that the business holds the licence and insurance your state requires for the job.
Reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience with the business. We may decline or remove reviews that are false, offensive, off-topic or written by someone connected to the business.
Business responsibilities and disclaimers
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of the information on their listings. Aussie Builders Directory does not independently check every detail a business provides. Paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Aussie Builders Directory is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of this directory or from any dealings between customers and businesses.
