About Beepin' Smoke Alarms - Mackay
Smoke alarm compliance, installation and safety switch testing in Mackay, QLD.
Beepin' Smoke Alarms is a small Mackay-based business working from Mount Pleasant and covering suburbs across the region, including Andergrove, Eimeo, North Mackay, Ooralea, Seaforth and Walkerston. Its work centres on Queensland smoke alarm compliance: inspections that check alarms and wiring against current state legislation, fault finding when alarms chirp or go off without reason, and installation or upgrade of photoelectric interconnected alarms, hardwired or with 10-year batteries. Safety switch testing and switchboard inspections are also part of the service, along with cleaning, testing and battery replacement, plus a compliance report for landlords, sellers and homeowners. The business services all major smoke alarm brands.
The team is run by a licensed electrician and works with homeowners, landlords and real estate professionals. As an electrical trade, this kind of business may also handle general wiring, power points and lighting, but it is worth contacting Beepin' Smoke Alarms to confirm whether those jobs are taken on.

“We had a great experience with Ben from Beepin Smoke Alarms and would happily recommend him. After experiencing ongoing false alarms with our previous smoke alarm system, Ben took the time to understand the issues we had been having, talk through the available options and make sure the replacement system suited what we were looking for. The whole process was professional, straightforward and easy, and we really appreciated the time Ben took to answer our questions and explain everything clearly. It has now been around two months since the new system was installed and we haven’t had a single issue. Very happy with both the service and the outcome, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Beepin Smoke Alarms.”
