We switched it for the 1st time and it blew fuses in the meter box. We called Eco Tech Electrical who understandably reluctant to help because it was only in for a couple of months and we had no power.Of course the installer was not available. Eco Tech came and rectified the issue.They were very concerned about the state the install was in. I decided I had to call work place and safety,concerned about whether it is safe.They Came and were mortified with the work done. “I worked with EcoTech on the installation of solar panels to a block of townhouses, using the NT's Multi-Dwelling Solar Grant. EcoTech were reliable, professional and efficient from start to finish. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and expertise. Before installation: EcoTech did a thorough on-site inspection to explore installation options and discuss limitations. They provided a quote which included high quality panels and inverters. They were flexible when we had additional owners wanting to be involved, issued several versions of the quote to accompadate requested changes, answered heaps of questions and were patient as we worked through the approval and grant process. During installation: installation commenced very quickly after they received the deposit and the system instalation was well coordinated. They communicated well, were friendly and thoughtful and cleaned up. How the install holds up in the wet season is to be confirmed. After installation: EcoTech provided all electrical safety documents quickly, helped us navigate the installation of new smart metres with PowerWater/Jacana and attended to requests to move conduit away from a drain. “After 2 years of trying to get satisfaction, EcoTech was the first to suggest contacting NTWorkSafe to see if the system installed was compliant. It was not so I am eternally grateful to both for getting a badly installed Tesla gateway replaced. It failed in the first 12 months due to poor installation but Tesla was blamed and replaced it. I told Tesla it was not their fault but bad installation. then wanted badly installed solar panels replaced and the original installers refused to move them, when I offered to pay. I then contacted EchoTech and was told that they should be moved free of charge because they were not installed where agreed and we were not consulted. I was told to see NT Consumer Affairs and NTCAT if need be. The company still refused to consider moving the panels and I decided I did not trust their workmanship and did not want to be associated with them. So I again contacted EcoTech to move them and they did. I now intend to proceed with my complaint and produce the bill . Hopefully, concilliation and NTCAT as a last resort will be successful. Either way, I am now happy to be a customer of EcoTech; helpful, efficient, approachable, where the last company was not on”
