About Elite Electrical Controls

Elite Electrical Controls is a privately owned company based in Capalaba, QLD, building switchboards and electrical control solutions for mining, process, commercial and industrial sites. Its workshop work covers main switchboards, distribution switchboards, control panels, PLC cubicles and motor control centres, along with new switchboard design and fabrication, upgrades to existing equipment and integrated control systems. The business also handles domestic rewiring, commercial installations and fault finding around Capalaba and nearby suburbs such as Alexandra Hills, Birkdale and Sheldon.
Clients can visit the workshop for inspections and full function testing before equipment is crated and dispatched, with temporary power available for testing. Russell and Neil Mair started the company in April 2003 after apprenticeships in the petro-chemical industry, and it has grown through word of mouth, with work seen on sites across Australia and overseas. Projects have included communications, gas, power generation, instrumentation and controls, hazardous area installations, water treatment, solar and battery energy storage, food and beverage, and high rise residential, with remote and international locations also served.
