About Elite Pipe and Cable Locating Pty Ltd
Underground utility locating in Albion Park, NSW for power cables, water mains, gas lines and sewer and stormwater lines.
Elite Pipe and Cable Locating Pty Ltd is an underground utility locating business based in Albion Park, NSW, working across the Illawarra and surrounding regions and travelling as far north as Sydney. The team traces and marks out buried services before construction or renovation work begins, covering power cables both live and de-energised, fibre optic and telecommunications lines, water and gas mains and service lines, sewer and stormwater lines, electrical conduits and control cabling, street lighting and traffic signal cables, irrigation and fire service lines, and non-metallic pipes such as PVC and polyethylene. They also locate abandoned or redundant services, underground storage tanks, pits and voids, and footings, slabs and other buried structures.
The business is owned and run by husband-and-wife team Richard and Samantha Collins, with Richard bringing trade experience in plumbing and construction to the locating work and Samantha handling administration and client enquiries. Locating is carried out with ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic locators and CCTV drain cameras, and the crew works to Australian standards and safe work requirements, fitting in with road opening permits, traffic control and site inductions.
