Access through the roof cavity and other areas around our house isn't great but Connor is a terrific problem solver and managed to overcome the difficulties to get the job done neatly and cleanly. His communications were very good and whenever there were options available, he took the time to talk us through the pros and cons so we could make informed decisions. “Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience with Excite Electrics. The job was to install a new range hood, but it ended up taking three visits with a disappointing outcome. First visit: They arrived outside the quoted 2-hour attendance window and spent less than two minutes measuring. Second visit: They installed the range hood, but it didn't seem to be working, so we had to call them back. Third visit: The office rang to book another appointment but could only offer one time, with no flexibility. On the day, the electrician arrived about 40 minutes later than the quoted time. He asked where the toilet was, took some toilet paper, and used it to show that the range hood was actually working. He explained that the range hood itself wasn't very good, but that it had been installed correctly. Needing three visits, the delays, the lack of flexibility with appointments made it a pretty frustrating experience. Addendum: I have received an email from the owner asking me to addend or remove my review. An appropriate addendum is to clarify that due to the absence of an exhaust, the current range hood is the suitable option. As the workmanship appears to be of a good standard, I will i”
