About Flow State Electrics
Electrician in Mount Sheridan, QLD for switchboard upgrades, smoke alarms, ceiling fans and generator changeover switches.
Flow State Electrics is an electrical business based in Mount Sheridan, QLD, working across Cairns and the surrounding suburbs, from the Northern Beaches out to Atherton, Mareeba and the Tablelands. The work covers homes and businesses: switchboard upgrades, smoke alarm installation, ceiling fan replacement, downlight and other lighting upgrades, generator changeover switches, air conditioner cleaning, test and tag, safety checks and general maintenance. Level 1 and Level 2 electrical work, commercial and residential jobs, and emergency call-outs are also part of the offering.
The business is run by Lachlan, who installs interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms to meet Queensland's 2027 requirements, fits changeover switches so a generator can be run safely during an outage, and swaps out old ceiling fans for new ones. Solar panels can be removed and refitted when a roof is replaced, though new solar installs are not offered. As a newer, family owned operation, it also covers the usual electrical work such as wiring and power points; contact the business to confirm what your job needs.

“Lachie was so easy and amazing to work with. We wanted to refresh our space with new down lights and fans, but had no idea how many, what to look for or anything. He came in one week, gave us a great quote with full explanations and then the following week completed 14 lights and 4 fans under 4 hours! He was clean, respectful, on time and made the space feel brand new again. We couldn’t recommend him enough! Great electrician and all round great guy!”

“My hot water system was playing up, so I needed an electrician to come and inspect and fix it. Flow State Electrics was recommended to me via word of mouth. I completed the online form on Monday night, received a response that same night, and Lachlan completed the job the very next morning. He was reliable, honest, competent and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Lachlan if you are seeking an electrician. I will definitely use him again if I require electrical work done.”
