About Glasshouse Home Safety
Smoke alarm testing, installation, servicing and repairs in Baringa, QLD, plus safety switch installations.
Glasshouse Home Safety is an electrical business based in Baringa, QLD, working across Beerwah, Caloundra West, Golden Beach, Landsborough, Meridan Plains and Little Mountain. Its main work is smoke alarms: testing, installation, servicing and repairs, along with safety switch installations and residential and commercial installations. The business also supplies smoke alarms, extinguishers and fire blankets, and offers service packages covering rental property obligations, including a lease renewal alarm test in the year after an upgrade.
Fire detection is the focus, with the business noting 26 years of work in that area and warranty handled directly rather than through a third-party manufacturer. It operates as a mobile service with after-hours emergency service, and payment can be made by cash, EFT, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa. As an electrician, the trade also covers work such as wiring, power points and lighting, so it is worth asking whether those jobs are taken on.

“Chris the smoke alarm installer did a great job advising at first on best placement of the 9 alarms installed when he punctually arrived. HE THEN QUIETLY continued to undergo the works within an hour , on completion we both tested all the alarms sqeeking away like a flock of birds ( a preferred sound from the usual bleet) , then he gave me the brochures in hard copy after showing me the functions on the wall controller for the alarms that we put in the passageway above the main light switch away from young hands. Yes I recommend Glasshouse Safety for their polite friendly efficient service from Ian at Lake MacDonald Q..”
