  “After a phone enquiry, Harris Electrical sent me a link with an offer/quote to supply and install a Sigenergy 3 phase (22kw) AC charger for my EV. Before I paid a deposit, I got a call from them saying that they had underquoted (although the price was the same as that discussed earlier), but that they would still honour the quote. I then paid the quote price in full (accidentally) even though they only required a 10% deposit. Later, they called back and said that they could not honour the quote that I had already paid in full and that the price would be almost $500 higher. I accepted the new, higher quote. On installation day, when the install was nearly complete, I discovered by accident that it had been cabled and connected in a single phase (7kw) configuration. I pointed out that it was supposed to be 3 phase. The tech phoned the office and he confirmed this. He then had to re-cable and reinstall the unit as 3 phase. Obviously, the communication had not been clear. When it then came time to connect it to wifi and enable online (app) control, the tech knew nothing about it and didn’t know how to do it.
