About JA Electrical and Solar
Electrician and solar installer in Tweed Heads West, NSW for switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, solar panels, inverters and batteries.
JA Electrical and Solar is an electrical and solar business based in Tweed Heads West, NSW, working across the Tweed, the Northern Rivers and the southern Gold Coast. It handles domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including switchboard upgrades, smoke detectors, emergency repairs, light and power, and electric car chargers. On the solar side it installs panels, inverters and batteries, and it also carries out Accredited Service Provider Level 2 work such as new connections, service mains and disconnect and reconnect jobs, which it offers in NSW only.
The business is owner-operated, with director Jeremy Alderson having worked as an electrician for more than 15 years. Jobs are quoted in full before work begins so the cost is clear up front, and the work is carried out to current state and national rules. Solar and battery jobs are assessed property by property, including checking the existing service mains, and commercial solar work can extend further afield, including the Clarence Valley.

“Jeremy was fantastic! After leaving a message he promptly returned my call, we discussed the job, I sent a photo, we organised a date and within a week the job was completed beautifully and efficiently. A lovely guy, good communicator and price. 5 star”

“Can't recommend Jeremy enough. We only needed our solar checked over, but he was happy to answer all the questions we had and never made us feel like we were wasting his time. It's nice dealing with a local electrician who actually turns up when they say they will and just gets on with the job. We'll definitely be using JA Electrical & Solar again for any electrical work around Tweed Heads”

“We recently had Jeremy from JA Electrical & Solar out to inspect and service our solar system and couldn't be happier with the experience. He was professional on time and took the time to explain exactly how the system was performing and what needed attention. It's refreshing to find an honest electrician who genuinely wants to help rather than just sell you something. If you're looking for a reliable electrician in Tweed Heads or need a solar service, inspection, or electrical work, I highly recommend JA Electrical & Solar.”
