“**Disappointing experience with pricing transparency and communication.** We requested quotes for several electrical jobs, some of which were relatively routine, but were advised that Lighthouse could not provide quotes without first inspecting the work. What wasn't disclosed was that the initial inspection would subsequently be charged as labour. Important details about labour charges and additional costs were also not clearly communicated upfront. Decisions were made regarding staffing and charging arrangements without consulting us or obtaining our agreement, resulting in a significantly higher invoice than anticipated. Additionally, work included in our original instructions was not completed during the initial visit, requiring a return visit for which we were charged additional labour. While explanations were eventually provided after we questioned the invoice, we remain disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication. We would strongly recommend that prospective customers obtain written confirmation of all rates, inspection fees, chargeable travel time and potential additional costs before proceeding.”
