“Can't comment about any quality of work. I received a quote for an electric gate. It's been a week and I received a rude phone call from Phil angry that I hadn't yet responded to his quote yet. The fence that the gate is meant to join to isn't even finished yet. I would be cautious before inviting Phil out to quote on any work, or perhaps be crystal clear with him about when you're planning on getting back to him. EDIT: "cannot be bothered to respond in any way shape or form" - it's been less than a week since we've received your quote. If you'd simply asked when we were looking to make a decision, we would have told you this weekend after our fence was finished. Be decent and treat people better; you don't know what's going on in people's lives. Edit 2: Phil did tell me over the phone that he had multiple jobs and if he couldn't squeeze this in before Dec - it would likely be in Feb. None of my business what his concreter is doing and no mention of the urgency in his quote "valid for 30 days"”
