About Pulse Locating
Utility locating contractor in Wangara, WA, for underground utility locating, GPR scanning and vacuum excavation.
Pulse Locating is a subsurface utility detection business based in Wangara, in Perth's northern suburbs, and works on sites across Western Australia. It locates and maps buried services such as electricity, gas, water, sewage and telecommunications before excavation and construction work begins, using electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radar to find both metallic and non-metallic pipes, rebar and other buried material.
Its work covers underground utility locating, ground penetrating radar and concrete scanning, non-destructive digging, vacuum excavation, potholing and high pressure gas supervision, along with site assessment and consultation. Detailed reports and mapping are provided so contractors and construction firms know what lies beneath a site. The business also appears under civil contracting and works on road construction and utility projects of varying sizes.

“Barto from Pulse Locating was excellent. He came out a second time when one area couldn’t be checked initially due to an elevated decking obstructing access, and he handled everything very professionally. On both visits, he clearly explained the limitations of the scanning process when there are structures on the ground, which we really appreciated. He was always punctual, efficient, and managed to fit us in at short notice when we needed the work done urgently. Highly recommend Barto and Pulse Locating for their professionalism and reliability.”
