About Select Switchboards

Switchboard designer and manufacturer in Winnellie, NT, building main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels.

Select Switchboards designs and manufactures custom switchboards in Winnellie, in Darwin's northern suburbs, and serves nearby areas including Berrimah, Parap, Stuart Park, Ludmilla and Woolner. The business started in 2021 after spotting a gap in switchboard design and manufacturing, and now works on electrical infrastructure projects across Australia, including tendered work in several large industries.

Its range covers main switchboards, distribution boards, control panels, automation panels, switchrooms, meter boxes, power factor correction units, motor control centres and mechanical service switchboards. Alongside manufacturing, the team carries out switchboard safety auditing, preventative maintenance, switchboard upgrades, thermal imaging, testing and commissioning. Each board is built to suit the requirements of the site, with the aim of supporting the electrical infrastructure it serves.

The business works with clients on commercial and industrial projects rather than general domestic electrical work. Homeowners and businesses wanting switchboard work should get in touch to confirm what the team can take on.
