Stix Cabling is a locally owned and operated family business working out of Kirwan in Townsville, covering Condon, Rasmussen, Cranbrook, Heatley, Kirwan and Mount Louisa. The company handles electrical and telecommunications work for homes, businesses and remote sites across Townsville and North Queensland, and began as a sole trader in 2003 on the Telstra cable network in Sydney before moving into pay TV contracting and later becoming a proprietary limited company in 2013.
Its electrical work takes in switchboard upgrades and relocations, wiring repairs, power points and additional outlets, ceiling fan installations, smoke alarm installation and test and tag. On the telecommunications side it covers network and NBN cabling, patch panels, cable management, telephone extensions, MATV and SMATV systems, Wi-Fi access points and routers, TV antennas and mounting, security and IP cameras and swipe card access. Solar panel, off grid and battery systems are also offered, along with pre-installation wiring for new premises.

He was here for 5 mins, and gave every impression my job would be at the bottom of the pile of thousands and maybe in July/August someone might get around to it.
