“We did a lot of research on a Battery to supplement the solar panels in the home we just purchased and obtained quotes from several companies. During the sales process SunPeople were the only company to come to our home. The salesman was able to present us with options without being pushy. When we presented these options to the other quoting comanies, we discovered there were hidden extras to their quotes. We settled on a Sigenenergy modular battery with partial backup. The quote we received was clear with no fine print. It was not the cheapest solution, but we were confident it would meet our needs. Delivery was promised to be four to six weeks and we were asked if we could do an earlier install if they had a gap. We were offered an install three weeks in and accepted. The installation team were on site for two days and explained to us what they were going to do at the start of the installation and kept us up to date as it progressed. Their standard of workmanship was high and they were friendly and courteous. They trained us in how the system worked, It has been installed for two weeks and has allowed us to install a pool heater and fully utilise our solar power rather than sell ”

“2022 We compared several solar companies before choosing SunPeople. From designing the system to maximise production to the completion of the installation they were thoroughly professional. A great team to deal with from start to finish. 2026 Four years ago I gave SunPeople 5 stars after they installed solar panels at my home. At the time, I was genuinely impressed with their professionalism and customer service from design through to installation. They were also quite keen for me to leave a review, which I was happy to do because I felt they had earned it. Unfortunately, my recent experience has shown a very different side of the company. In July 2026, SunPeople installed a battery at my home. The price I was quoted included a protective cover for the battery. The installer advised that someone would return the following day to fit it. That never happened. More than seven weeks later, the cover still hasn't been installed. The most frustrating part is not the delay itself, but the complete lack of communication. Every single update has been initiated by me. Emails are ignored. Promised callbacks don't occur. Information is only provided after repeated chasing, and even then it is ”
