  “CAUTION: Problematic Installation, Faulty Products & Unacceptable Service from Thompson Energy Our experience with Thompson Energy for AC installation (total cost $17,513.31) has been a 6-month disaster with no satisfactory resolution. This premium installation turned into a nightmare of delays, malfunctions, and appalling customer service; their second installment became a major contention point. Timeline of Our Ordeal: The "two-day" job, due Dec 9, 2024, was "completed" Dec 20, but with immediate, severe issues. Constant Breakdowns: Within days (Dec 23, 2024 & Jan 15, 2025), the unit wasn't turning on. The iZone tablet frequently froze, required constant resets, failed to load, and had non-working physical buttons. System flow was not properly tested. Persistent connectivity problems (pictured) led to our manual troubleshooting. Crucially, highly uneven airflow between rooms made one bedroom freezing and others barely conditioned. A new sensor was immediately faulty, (why wasn’t this tested?) needing replacement and raising early red flags about the iZone system. We don’t have two weeks of functioning AC over summer and wet drives to used floor fans when it wasn’t working. Then c”

Not only has our electricity bill dropped from $250+ P/M to $9P/M but we had power when cyclone Alfred hit when the grid was down for 4 days. Jasper and the team were very easy to deal with , turned up on time , installation was seamless, and the app is super easy to use.   “The critical failure of my old Alpha battery system on October 26 last year put me back on the electricity grid without the benefit of my solar panels. Thomson Energy supported me in the seemingly endless battle to get some service from Alpha who sent the wrong part. On August 3 Thomson Energy installed the new Sigenergy system and on September 10, I went off-grid. Please see elsewhere for the review of the Sigenergy system. Nathan and Jasper from Thomson Energy moved heaven and earth to repair the old system to no avail. They just don't make them any more and none of the old software talks to anything. They recommended the Sigenergy system and the numbers made sense. Great people to deal with, excellent customer service and really know their stuff.”
