About Wagtail Electrical

Wagtail Electrical is an electrician working from Hornsby in Sydney's north, covering nearby suburbs including Asquith, Mount Colah, Normanhurst, Thornleigh, Westleigh, Wahroonga and Waitara. The business handles both residential and commercial electrical work, from homes through to office fit-outs and connectivity.
Its work covers switchboard repairs, replacements and upgrades, ceiling fan and exhaust fan installation, and lighting such as downlights, oyster lights, LED strip lighting and other modern fittings. It also does electrical fault finding and sets up home networks, office connectivity and TV and internet access points. Jobs start with an on-site quote, and the business offers a mobile service across its service areas. Typical electrical work such as wiring and power points is also part of the trade, so it is worth asking whether that is covered for a particular job.

I got quotes from other electricians, and he was by far the best price. I will be having him back when I update my lights.”

“I do not hand out 5 stars easily, but I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by David at Wagtail Electrical. From the outset, communication was fantastic—he was friendly, helpful, and always followed up reliably. On the day of both jobs, he arrived right on time and was extremely punctual. David’s attention to detail and expertise really stand out. He is very open to listening to what you want and happy to test things out, but he’s also not afraid to suggest smarter, practical alternatives when his industry experience knows a better way to get the job done. The work itself was completed quickly, precisely, and with no mess left behind—he cleaned up thoroughly after finishing. On top of all that, his pricing is very fair and competitive for the high level of service and craftsmanship he delivers. I highly recommend David and Wagtail Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable, top-notch electrician!”
