“RESPONSE TO OWNER: -------------------------------------------------------- Dear Gordon, While I appreciate our recent SMS exchange, I am updating this review to clarify the technical facts. While a 150mm pull-cord model is no longer manufactured, this did not justify providing misleading information regarding NCC compliance to avoid installing the most suitable functional alternative: the Clipsal 7108AN (the 200mm pull-cord version). It appears a 150mm Non-pull-cord version of the fan was, in my opinion, chosen simply because it was the quickest 'swap' for the technician, ignoring the fact that the 200mm pull-cord model would have provided the manual control I need for my health. Since the technician had already cut a custom plywood board from scratch for this installation, it would have required minimal extra effort to further cut the opening for the 200mm unit.
