“Couldn’t speak higher of these guys. We got quotes/installed in late 2025 - western elec were the best value and my mates had gone with them previously so helped my decision. Michael and Tom got it installed before the new year. Installation went smooth - really pleasant and respectful guys to have at your house too. One of the things I wanted to call out what their post-install service. There was a few issues with the distributor early on - I reached out to them and they worked through. Then the past month we had a blackout but the backup circuits didn’t kick in - Goodwe told me it was to do with a firmware upgrade on their end and that the installer would need to come make a minor change to the system. I again text Michael, who came out this morning while he was in the area and resolved the issue - talked me through it all as well. Long winded, but in short - if you’re looking for battery/solar I would highly recommend this local business. Good value, good advice, great service (pre-during-post instal), and nice guys.”

“Very happy with the solar & battery installation done by Western Elec, the boys were on time, did a high quality job and left my roof and backyard neat and tidy. They quoted a variety of different brand batteries and solar panels to select from, which also covered different setup options. Micheal took time out to explain in detail any questions I had before and after the install. They helped set up the solar usage app and showed me how it works. Great local business, highly recommend Show Details”

“The quoting process was good. You speak directly to them (to the electrician). I asked for a quote to a particular solar battery but he sent me a few options. I was glad because there was a better option and a good value from which I chose to install. The waiting between placing the order and install took at least 2 months or more which is understandable due to the current situation now. Michael and Tom has done a great job with the installation. It was very tidy and done professionally. Because my house is a double storey, I didn't even expect that they will insert all the cables through the walls unlike other installers that were using a conduit to run the cables outside and make your house looks ugly. And once done, they left everything in a perfectly clean and orderly state. They also managed the solar battery's configuration and rebate. I highly recommend them and will call them again for sure. System was Alpha ESS 30 Kw solar battery. Installed: 10/11/2025”
