About KDEC Electrical & Solar
Electrician and solar installer in East Albury, NSW, for solar power, solar batteries, EV chargers and data cabling.
KDEC Electrical & Solar is an electrical and solar business based in East Albury, working across Albury's north, south and surrounds as well as Lavington, Baranduda, Leneva and Towong. The team installs solar power systems and solar batteries, fits electric vehicle chargers, and handles data cabling and fibre optics for homes, businesses and industrial sites. Air conditioners and solar lights are also supplied. Work covers both residential and commercial properties, from home upgrades to larger energy supply jobs.
The business has been running since 1994 and is family owned, with mobile service and free parking at its Albury base. Its data and fibre work includes structured Cat5e and Cat6 cabling, phone networks, optical fibre, data cabinets and UPS systems, installed, tested and certified. Solar and electrical work is the core of what it does, and general maintenance is also offered. As with any electrician, wiring, power points and lighting are the kind of work the trade covers, so it is worth asking whether these are handled.

“I couldn't be happier with the system and service from KDEC. They weren't the cheapest quote I received, but it's obvious why. From the very first consultation they demonstrated a deep understanding of solar design and took the time to design a system that suited my home and energy usage rather than just selling me a standard package. The installation was professional, communication was excellent throughout, and the workmanship was first class. Even after installation they've continued to provide outstanding support, answering questions promptly and even rolling out firmware updates when required. Now that I've had time to monitor the system through both perfect sunny days and several consecutive rainy winter days, I'm even more impressed with how well the system has been designed and how it performs in real-world conditions. If you're looking for a company that values quality, expertise and customer service over simply being the cheapest, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KDEC.”
